Summary

Removes redundant removeDuplicates function and integrates deduplication logic directly into mergeValues to eliminate code duplication.

Changes

Removed removeDuplicates function from pubsub_test.go
Enhanced mergeValues to handle deduplication when withInvalidEntries is true
